Why are some Christians against things like yoga, meditation and psychology?
Some Christians ban yoga, meditation, psychotherapy, reflexology, acupuncture, tai chi, martial arts, Ayurvedic medicine, biofeedback etc. They claim that acupuncture, yoga and meditation to invoke a demonic spiritual power, because it is the Eastern mysticism. But where on earth u can not find any evidence of such a thing? Not OK to try yoga for exercise, relaxation and meditation to acunpuncture to treat certain diseases (acupuncture has been accepted by the medical West).
Stanley, I am a lapsed Catholic and practice meditation and yoga. No religion tells me what to think or feel or claims that will to hell. Religion has the right to exist as long as you and me, we have the right to do what we want, within the limits and boundaries of the law. You must do what you want and not guided by religious hatred or opinions of others.
