The race was ran under a new formula agreed in Ostend in 1907. There was no fuel consumption limit, but the cars had a minimum weight of 1100 kilograms, and a maximum cylinder bore of 155 millimetres. This formula differed from the regulations in place for the American Vanderbilt Cup series, which discouraged American manufacturers from entering the race. Lewis Strang drove the single American entrant, the Thomas Flyer. Christian Lautenschlager won the race in his Mercedes finishing nearly nine minutes ahead of Victor Hémery’s Benz. You can try Roger Elwood, wrote "Angelwalk" and multiple sequels of. And if you like science fiction Christian, I recommend "Kathy Tyers 'Firebird' Trilogy (Fire Bird, the merger On the Fire and Crown of Fire) and the novel by Karen Hancock's Arena. "Stephen Lawhead is very good too, especially if you're interested in legends King Arthur, but he has also written science fiction (Dream Thief ", Empyrion" Duology) and pure fantasy (King Dragon "trilogy). Oh, and the classic Christian Fantasy: Madeleine L'Engle's "A Wrinkle in Time" and his three companions (Winds of the door, quickly switch the planet and many waters). Happy reading!
