What would you like a book of Christian Fiction?
For those who like to read Christian fiction, or not now, but I have found known, what do you want? What bothers you the current authors in this genre, and / or what you like about them? I really know what people want, a sort of market research. Thank you! For those who have responded so far, thank you. I wonder what the authors you read. I have read many recent time personally by Karen Kingsbury. I love your stories and get very involved, but there are elements of his writing that annoy me and that I would change if I could.
Speaking as someone who is not a fan of the genre (but at least I tried), I would like to see characters who speak less and do more. Nature didactic sermons or make a scene so ridiculous and unrealistic in the action stops and everyone just talks or conversions take place. Life not the actual fall that way. Show the benefits of a Christian life, shows us characters whose lives are more pleasant to live and not just talk. I also like to see less politics and extremism in Christian fiction. The series of portraits Left Behind "by Jews, Catholics, and women in general, I rejected the kind for a long time.
