Why do not Christians believe in astrology or horoscopes?
The Nativity ancient Greek word is used in the context of the Bible: In astrological reading Stars / horoscope. It was only later that has changed in the etymological sense born in Old French. Nativity Jesus was the birth chart, which predicts its future. The three kings mentioned in the original text (before the sages and kings became more later in the translation) were seers who read the sky at birth. The star in the sky has been the major astrological event that the birth of Jesus significant. If you do not believe in horoscopes then how the Kings know that Jesus was when he made his Messaih Christmas? And if you're not supposed to read omens then What's to talk about God with them by signs. And prayers answered in signs.
I think it generalization rather large decisions are about Christians. For my part, I consider myself a Christian, but I also believe there is truth in almost everything including astrology and horoscopes. But I understand what Did you mean (I think) So here is my answer to your question: Many people of different religions (not just Christianity) are afraid to explore different belief systems (eg, which include May astrology or horoscopes). Most of these fears are based on ignorance about the issue, incorrect information passed to them as a fact, the conviction that evil spirits, or simply a stubborn persistence. There seems to be a strong tendency in human beings in general (Christian or not) to deny the possibility of their system belief is based solely on faith, not facts. Several times, actually start to confuse the two … even in areas of science (like thinking that the earth was flat, although it has been demonstrated in the round). Realizing one of their beliefs is wrong can be scary for that built his whole life to these beliefs. If one is wrong, this could lead to their total faith that broke … It is a feeling of fear person.
