Anarchy and Christianity $12.69 Jacques Ellul blends politics, theology, history, and exposition in this analysis of the relationship between political anarchy and biblical faith. Christians, on the other hand, need to look at the biblical texts an… |

Deaths Due To Insect Bites And Stings $9.34 Purchase includes free access to book updates online and a free trial membership in the publisher’s book club where you can select from more than a million books without charge. Excerpt: Johann Kaspar Schmidt (October 25, 1806 June 26, 1856), better known as Max Stirner (the nom de plume he adopted from a schoolyard nickname he had acquired as a child because of his high brow, in German ‘Stirn’), was a German philosopher, who ranks as one of the literary fathers of nihilism, existentialism, post-modernism and anarchism, especially of individualist anarchism. Stirner’s main work is The Ego and Its Own, also known as The Ego and His Own (Der Einzige und sein Eigentum in German, which translates literally as The Only One and his Property). This work was first published in 1844 in Leipzig, and has since appeared in numerous editions and translations. Max Stirner’s birthplace in BayreuthStirner was born in Bayreuth, Bavaria. What little is known of his life is mostly due to the Scottish born German writer John Henry Mackay, who wrote a biography of Stirner (Max Stirner – sein Leben und sein Werk), published in German in 1898 (enlarged 1910, 1914), and translated into English in 2005. Stirner was the only child of Albert Christian Heinrich Schmidt (17691807) and Sophia Elenora Reinlein (17781839). His father died of tuberculosis on the April 19, 1807 at the age of 37. In 1809 his mother remarried to Heinrich Ballerstedt, a pharmacist, and settled in West Prussian Kulm (now Chemno, Poland). When Stirner turned 20, he attended the University of Berlin, where he studied Philology, Philosophy and Theology. He attended the lectures of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, who was to become a source of inspiration for his thinking. While in Berlin in 1841, Stirner participated in discussions with a group of young philosophers called “Die Freien” (“The Free”), and whom historians have subsequently categorized as the Young Hegelians. Jacques Ellul $49 acques Ellul (January 6, 1912 – May 19, 1994) was a French philosopher, law professor, sociologist, lay theologian, and Christian anarchist. He wrote several books about the “technological society” and the intersection between Christianity and politics, such as Anarchy and Christianity (1991)-arguing that anarchism and Christianity are socially following the same goal. A philosopher who approached technology from a deterministic viewpoint, Ellul, professor at the University of Bordeaux, authored 58 books and more than a thousand articles over his lifetime, the dominant theme of which has been the threat to human freedom and Christian faith created by modern technology. His constant concern has been the emergence of a “technological tyranny” over humanity. As a philosopher and lay theologian, he further explored the religiosity of the technological society. |

Marx, Lenin, and the Revolutionary Experience: Studies of Communism and Radicalism in the Age of Globalization $130 Marx, Lenin, and the Revolutionary Experience offers a fresh look at Communism, both the bad and good, and also touches on anarchism, Christian theory, conservatism, liberalism, Marxism, and more, to argue for the enduring relevance of Karl Marx, and V.I. Lenin as democratic revolutionaries. It examines the Red Decade of the 1930s and the civil rights movement and the New Left of the 1960s in the United States as well. Studying the past to grapple with issues of war and terrorism, exploitation, hunger, ecological crisis, and trends toward deadening de-spiritualization, the book shows how the revolutionaries of the past are still relevant to today”s struggles. It offers a clearly written and carefully reasoned thematic discussion of globalization, Marxism, Christianity (and religion in general), Communism, the history of the USSR and US radical and social movements. |

Mystical Anarchism $53.23 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Mystical Anarchism was a tendency within the Russian Symbolist movement after 1906, especially between 1906 and late 1908. It was created and popularized by Georgy Chulkov. In 1906, Chulkov edited Fakely (Torches), an anthology of Symbolist writing, which called on Russian writers to: abandon Symbolism and Decadence and move forward to “new mystical experience”. Later in the year Chulkov followed up with a “Mystical Anarchism” manifesto. The doctrine has been described as: a mish-mash of Nietzsche, Herzen, Bakunin, Merezhkovsky (Chulkov was a former editor of New Path), Ibsen, Byron, utopian socialism, Tolstoy’s Christian anarchism, and Dostoyevsky’s rejection of necessity. |

Christian Anarchism

What do you classify as a person, a hippie, conservative, liberal or something else?
1. A great admirer of Noam Chomsky, Norman Finkelstein and Ron Paul. I think our country has done many things wrong with the world, and Americans should travel the world to know why we are so hated. 2. I think a form of "Anarchism and the minimal role of government. I believe that governments and nations take rights away from people. Ideally, do not believe the concept of borders. 3. I hate racists, PPL PC, but I hate the most. I think the PC and dominate the secular conservative and I hate it much as I hate The Christians who dominate the minority. So, basically, freedom of expression for all, without censorship, not only the secular or conservative. 4. I want all drugs legal, while support only / as marijuana. I'm in against abortion, but everyone has the right to do what he wants in life is his business with God (and yes, I believe in God).
Social libertarian. This identifies as Chomsky. I'm one too. Keep spreading the word, my brother.
